San Miguel Digital

The city’s digital ecosystem: a single identity to enter the portals where people pay, file procedures, book appointments, work and buy, and also from each resident’s chatbot.

The San Miguel Digital gallery.

What it is

San Miguel Digital is the front door to municipal services: a gallery where each person picks a profile (resident, business, supplier or professional) and reaches the portal they need. Behind it there is a single identity, the municipal IdP, which recognizes each user across all portals.

What it does

  • A service gallery by profile, with direct access to each portal.
  • Payments portal: the tax can be paid without signing in; with an account, each person sees in a single view what they owe for vehicle, property, payment plan and fines, and gets benefits for direct debit and on-time payment.
  • Procedures portal: a search box and a catalog to start and follow digital procedures, such as exemptions, refunds, registrations and permits.
  • Patient portal: appointments, prescriptions and personal health data.
  • Suppliers portal: purchase orders, invoices, payment orders and withholdings, with sign-in through the ARCA tax key.
  • Municipal IdP: a single sign-in with Mi Argentina, ANSES, AFIP/ARCA or Google, using only the minimum information needed to verify identity.
  • MCP service: the same municipal services, available from the chatbot each resident chooses. It authenticates the same way as the web and lets people do from the conversation what they do from the portals.

What I did

  • I developed the municipal IdP: the single identity that recognizes each person across all portals, using the accounts they already have.
  • I made it a one-time sign-in: the same person reaches the doors that apply to them, whether resident, business, supplier or city staff.
  • I led, with a first-rate team, the development of the payments, procedures, patient, employment, suppliers and purchasing portals.
  • I developed an MCP service that brings all municipal services to chatbots, with the same authentication and the same procedures the web platforms offer, with the interfaces of the future in mind.
  • I designed the whole as one digital city: the same access, the same look and the same logic in every portal.
  • I made it possible to get things done from wherever you are: pay a tax, check an appointment or manage a purchase order.
