Nexo OS

The Ojos en Alerta console: a live map to follow events, assign vehicles and see where activity is concentrated.

Design and development Ojos en Alerta
Dark city map with orange and blue heat zones and a layers panel.
The console: layers on the left, map in the center and event status on top.

What it is

Nexo OS is a monitoring center’s workstation. It brings the city map, incoming events, available vehicles and the week’s analysis onto one screen, in 2D, 3D or satellite.

What it does

  • 2D, 3D and satellite map with layers: events, zones, traffic, vehicles, weather, urban relief and more.
  • Event list with each status: waiting, in progress and ready to close.
  • Crime-intelligence map: hotspots by grid cell with a score, predominant types and related events, plus a weekly history.
  • Daily operational deployment plan, proposed with AI assistance and always subject to human review.
  • Chat with residents inside the same console, and separate access for each city.

What I did

  • I designed and built a monitoring center’s workstation: map, events, vehicles, resident chat and analysis on a single screen.
  • I took the city to 3D, with its buildings, layers that appear as you zoom and a satellite view to read the territory.
  • I turned the week’s activity into a hotspot map by grid cell, with a score, predominant types and a history to compare weeks.
  • I integrated a daily deployment plan proposed with AI, built so the final decision stays human.
  • I made a single console serve several cities and organizations, including one in another country, each with its own access.
